Service Scope
AlARMS
The maintenance contract includes the following services, conducted quarterly (every 3 months):
- Full inspection and testing of the alarm system, cabled or wireless.
- Testing all zones, including, panic buttons, indoor sensors, outdoor sensors, keypads, sirens & main control panels.
- Testing that burglary & panic signals are going through to the armed response control room.
- Battery health check, main alarm battery & wireless device batteries if applicable. Batteries that Need to be Replaced, done so at Zero Cost, as Part of Monthly Fee.
CCTV
The maintenance contract includes the following services, conducted quarterly (every 3 months):
- Full inspection and testing of the CCTV Camera System, Analogue or IP.
- Inspecting Machine, All Cameras, Memory & Play Back.
- Cleaning of All Camera Lenses.
ELECTRIC FENCE
The maintenance contract includes the following services, conducted quarterly (every 3 months):
- Full Inspection & Testing of Electric Fence.
- Inspecting the Energizers & Battery Health – Replacing the back-up battery if needed.
- Walking the Length of the Fence Inspecting for any Broken Brackets, Wire, Stays, Bobbins, Hooks, Springs & Ferrals.
- Battery health check, Energizer battery. Batteries that Need to be Replaced done so at Zero Cost, as Part of Monthly Fee.
Exclusions
The following is not covered under a maintenance contract and will be billed separately:
- Replacement or additional equipment if out of guarantee, (besides batteries).
- Major system upgrades or rewiring.
Any additional equipment and installation needed will be quoted and discussed with the client for approval before work is carried out. Signing up or already being in an active maintenance contract will make the client eligible for discounted pricing of up to 20%.
Common Questions
How Does Billing Work?
Syncro Security operates on a subscription-based billing model. Clients are billed on a recurring monthly basis, for the selected service package. The billing cycle begins upon the commencement of the subscription.
How do I Pay?
Syncro Security ensures a secure and straightforward billing process. We use Payfast, a trusted and reliable payment gateway, to handle credit card transactions. Payfast employs advanced encryption technologies, ensuring that your payment information is securely protected throughout the billing process. This guarantees a safe and seamless experience for all our clients.
What Happens if I Want to Cancel My Subscription?
We understand that circumstances may change. Clients may terminate the subscription with a 30-day notice period. After the notice period, services will be deactivated. Subscriptions can be terminated after completing a minimum three-month commitment period, aligning with the contractual duration. This flexibility allows clients to reassess their subscription after the initial period, ensuring that they have the option to make informed decisions about the continuation of services based on their evolving needs.
